Patoka Lake near Birdseye hosts an Eagle Watch Day in January and has a raptor education program. Visitors can see raptors such as eagles, hawks and owls up close at the Patoka Lake Nature Center. Hours vary, so please call ahead before traveling.

I saw a bald eagle this morninng while driving my daughter to school in Morgan county. We were driving north on SR 67 it just flew up right in front of us carrying a mole in it’s talons it was so awesome.
I saw a bald eagle in Indianapolis flying over 465 on the north side at Allisonville Rd. It flew around for 5 minutes.

My husband and I live right off of I 64 on Corydon Ridge Rd NE and today while standing in our garden plot we looked up and there was an eagle flying above us! We see so many hawks out here but this was clearly a bald eagle. I had told my husband a year or so ago that I had seen one but he figured I had spotted another hawk. Well today he confirmed my excitement!!
Is there a nest locater map for IN similar to what FL has? I’ve heard there are 4 pairs nesting in Tippecanoe Co.

Robert. Saw a eagle at at Tippecanoe country club in Monticello near the tenth green across the street from my house. Grounds keepers stated they have seen it by the first fairway by Lake Shafer.

I think I saw a bald eagle today in Whiting at Wolf Lake. It was flying and I couldn’t see the head but the tail was white. Amazing.

Saw one outside of Cromwell ind. this afternoon. It had just cought a small rodent in an open field and was flying away with it. Awesome sight.
Southside of Indianapolis. I saw 2 Eagles flying over head around 6:30 PM on Wednesday, March 13, 2019. I was on driving east on Thompson Road close to Carroll Road when my friend and I spotted the eagles flying over the open fields heading in the direction of Southeastway Park. Pretty Cool to see them in flight!

I saw a bald eagle yesterday in East Chicago just north of the Arcelormittal steel mill property on the edge of Lake Michigan. He flew low over my head with a small rodent in his mouth.
St. Patrick’s County Park in South Bend. There are now three eggs in the nest and there is a webcam so they can be watched when the adults care for the eggs, when the eggs hatch and when the young take flight and leave the nest.
I believe I saw an Eagle today around 2:45pm. I was letting my dogs out in the back yard. We have hawks and I like to watch them. This was bigger than the Hawks I’ve seen, it’s head was white, dark body, and white tailfeathers. His wingspan was bigger, straight out to the side and it was just like floating in the air. It totally took me by surprise, I live in Northwest Indiana and I’ve never seen one before and wasn’t sure there where any in this area. I like to watch for different birds every year in my backyard, love to bird watch. If this actually was an eagle, I am very happy and excited to have seen it.
Another great location is Middlefork Reservoir in Richmond, IN. There are several.

Spotted a bald eagle today flying over Geist Reservoir. What a beautiful, majestic sight! This is the first time I’ve seen one out of captivity!
