Online Account Manager (OAM) is a site that allows Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance clients to access their policy information online. Since its launch in 2012, more than 70,000 clients have registered for OAM.
Though there are great benefits to the current site, Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance always strives to meet the growing needs of its clients. Because of this, they are adding more functionality to the site, many of the features being things that users have requested.
“The main benefit of Online Account Manager is to give clients the ability to access their insurance policies online at any time,” says Philena Mead, mutual systems manager for Indiana Farm Bureau Insurance. “We’ve added extra features that make this even easier and are continuously providing upgrades to improve clients’ interaction with the site.”
An upgrade makes the site more responsive and user-friendly on a mobile device, handy if you need to pull up your auto insurance ID card while on the go (as 39,047 people did in 2015). More communications on various policies can now be paperless, and updating your information is easier than ever.
In addition to the auto and home documentation you’ve been able to access, you may now view your life insurance anniversary statements on the site.
One of the most used features is the online bill pay. In 2015, nearly 250,000 payments were received through OAM. This feature will continue to be available.
OAM was not designed to replace your agent, and it shouldn’t. If questions arise, or you need to set up a meeting to discuss your insurance coverage in depth, a quick link is available to send an email directly to your agent.
