From beautiful peonies and tulips to idyllic daffodils, hyacinths, irises and more, guests can experience thousands of spring blooms this season at the Newfields Museum, formerly known as the Indianapolis Museum of Art.

Running from March 21 through May 12, 2024, the floral extravaganza begins indoors with Art in Bloom, an impressive display of fifty beautiful floral arrangements designed by local, regional and national florists. The event continues outdoors in early May with more than 40,000 blooming bulbs in The Garden at Newfields in addition to flowering trees and shrubs, thousands of orchids in the Madeline F. Elder Greenhouse, and more.

Starting the first week of April, the Beer Garden at Garden Terrace opens with a chef-designed menu featuring seasonally rotating items and favorites like sausages, Bavarian pretzels with house-made cheese, and beers from Germany and Belgium, plus local Indianapolis favorites.
