Wabash Riverfest

Touted as Greater Lafayette’s most prized natural resource, the Wabash River is celebrated each summer at the annual Wabash Riverfest.

Guests can learn about the eastern United States’ longest free-flowing river through exciting games and activities, canoe races, conservation exhibits and more.

Kids can burn off some energy in the inflatable big bounce or have their favorite river critter painted on their face. There’s also a coloring contest, cornhole and a 5K run/walk for older kids or kids-at-heart.

This year’s event is Saturday, July 8. Learn more at wabashriverfest.com.
