Frog Follies in Evansville has become a cherished event over the past 40 years. Since 1975, the E’ville Iron Street Rod Club has put on a rod run for street rod owners. The name Frog Follies comes from the very first event, when the club held a bullfrog race. Today, the Follies has grown to include more than 4,000 street rods each year.
The quirky event provides fun for the whole family. With games, activities and dances throughout the weekend, there is sure to be something for everyone. The commercial street rod vendor area boasts over 600 spaces and is constantly growing.
The 44th annual Frog Follies will be held Aug. 24-26 in Evansville. Tickets are $5 per person, and children under 12 get in free.
