All About Apples at Stuckey Farm Orchard and Cider Mill
With more than 25 different varieties from 4,000 trees, the owners of Stuckey Farm Orchard and Cider Mill in Hamilton County certainly know their apples. The Pierce family runs the farm and orchard in Sheridan, about 30 miles north of Indianapolis.
Visitors can pick as many apples as they can handle, take a free wagon ride, watch fresh cider being pressed and visit the Country Market for more seasonal produce. Kids will love Adventure Acres, complete with a 25-foot tube slide and off-road pedal cars, which is open on weekends from late September through October. And kids of all ages can indulge in Stuckey Farm’s cider donuts, made fresh daily.
