A Satisfying Crunch From Indiana Pickle Company
Local is the name of the game for Rob Carmack, founder of Indianapolis-based Indiana Pickle Company.
The company uses local Indiana beers and spirits to pickle not only cucumbers, but carrots, pears and even plums for a delicious, beer-soaked treat. Carmack says that each beer or spirit he uses imparts a different flavor to each pickle, and he’s able to sell seasonal offerings, along with staples like kosher pickle chips and spicy garlic spears.
