Pulaski is Poppin’

It’s official: Pulaski, Indiana, is now the popcorn capital of the United States, according to The Washington Post. By using data from the 2017 USDA Census of Agriculture, the Post found that Pulaski County was the top popcorn-producing county in the nation, beating out Mason County, Illinois, which had previously held the title. And it’s no wonder – Pulaski County produced over 100 million pounds of popcorn in 2017, further cementing Indiana as a popcorn-producing powerhouse.
