Open from June 1 through Sept. 14, the Newburgh Farmers Market is much more than just a place to find fresh food – it’s an experience.

From family-friendly concerts to cooking demos to a pie contest and the Zucchini 500, there’s lots going on at this market, located at the Old Lock & Dam Park on the riverfront.

Of course, attendees can also get some of the best local food, with vendors all coming from within a 60-mile radius of Newburgh. Everything from pasture-raised meats, baked goods and fresh-pressed juices to handwoven rugs, fresh flowers and more is available.

The market is open from 8 a.m. to noon every Saturday morning. Learn more at newburghfarmersmarket.org.
