Good Eats, Gluten-Free at the Fig Tree Cafe

From homemade soups and gourmet coffee to Italian gelato, the Fig Tree Cafe in downtown Lebanon has a wide variety of tasty fare to satisfy any craving.

Owners Levi and Bethany Deaton opened the restaurant when they saw the need for a healthy option on the square downtown. Soon after opening the cafe, Bethany Deaton discovered she is gluten-intolerant, so the cafe became one of few places in the area with gluten-free choices.

The Deatons also love supporting local Indiana businesses and carry an array of Hoosier-made products, including Maple Creations maple syrup, Two Cookin’ Sisters salsa and Maple City Roasters coffee.
