Ready-to-Eat Cereals

Few breakfasts are faster than pouring cereal and milk in a bowl. Aim for 100 percent whole-grain cereals at least half the time: frosted wheat squares, raisin bran, toasted O’s, oatmeal squares, granola and oatmeal. All cereals, even the sugary ones, are fortified with vitamins and minerals. Teach your kids about balance and enjoy sugary cereals occasionally rather than daily.
