Brown County Festivals

If you want to find the pulse of a community, fall festivals often display camaraderie at its best. Here are a few you can find in Brown County this fall:

Hoosier Hops & Harvest

This beer festival, which takes place Aug. 26 at the Story Inn, allows visitors to sample more than 30 craft beers and microbrews from a six-state area.

Bill Monroe’s Bluegrass Hall of Fame & Uncle Pen Days Festival

This annual music festival turns 43 in 2017, and more than 30 bands perform in the bluegrass pioneer’s eponymous music park and campground in Bean Blossom. Taking place Sept. 20-23, admission includes entry to the museum as well as music and instrument workshops.

Brown County Epic

Experience the best mountain biking in the Midwest at the brand new Brown County Epic event. Taking place Oct. 6-8, the festival and ride offer tons of flowing single track during the great fall season. Other event activities include camping, demos, food trucks, group rides, live music and more.
